Day 1
Friday, 9/17/2010 - Fly to Spokane / Coach to Coeur d'Alene
Morning flight to Spokane, where you’ll meet your tour manager and board your coach for a brief city tour of Spokane. Next drive east to nearby Coeur d'Alene and check into your highrise, lakeview resort hotel for 2 nights. Then board the boat for a 90 minute lake cruise. Return to the hotel for the Get Acquainted Dinner.

Saturday, 9/18/2010 - Day trip to Silver Valley / Rider Ranch Dinner
Board the coach for a day trip east along the Silver Valley to learn the gold and silver mining history in the towns of Kellogg and Wallace. Take a tour of an actual mine and visit the Bordello Museum. Then, enjoy an afternoon visit to quaint Rider Ranch, with scenic hayride, old fashioned hospitality, and BBQ steak cookout.

Sunday, 9/19/2010 - Free Time / Bus to Riggins
Free time to enjoy the resort. Enjoy golf, tennis, boating, swimming, or spa treatments. Motor south to Moscow for lunch on own. Then stop in Lewiston on the Snake River and learn about the Lewis & Clark Expedition of 1805. Continue along the Salmon River to the small town of Riggins, located where the Salmon and Little Salmon rivers meet, arriving at your riverview. Tonight, enjoy a private outdoor dinner on the point.

Monday, 9/20/2010 - Jetboat Trip / Free Time
Take a private 2- hour narrated jet boat ride on the Salmon River with snacks and beverages this morning. See fantastic alpine scenery, gushing white water rapids, and lots of wildlife. Return to hotel for free time to relax, visit town, or take an optional whitewater raft ride. Dinner on own tonight, but ride our free shuttle into town to sample one of their best restaurants.

Tuesday, 9/21/2010 - Riggins to Sun Valley
Motor south along the Payette River canyon and up into the Sawtooth Recreation Area along Scenic Byway #75. Stop in the famous resort town of McCall to tour the Smokejumper Fire Fighting school. Later tour the Sawtooth Salmon Fish Hatchery in Stanley. Arrive in Sun Valley and our historic 1930's style Sun Valley Inn & Lodge for 2 nights. Sun Valley predates Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Mount Hood. Dinner in the famous Lodge Dining Room.

Wednesday, 9/22/2010 - Valley Tour /Free Time
Enjoy a morning tour of the Sun Valley area including Ketchum and Elk Horn. See the famous ski areas of Bald & Dollar Mountains. Free time this afternoon to enjoy golf, tennis, horseback riding, ice skating, bowling, swimming, or the spa. Free shuttle into 1880's Ketchum for shopping & to see Ernest Hemingway’s grave. Tonight, enjoy our Farewell Dinner at a fine local restaurant.
